With the evolution of treatments that are being performed, it is critical that we possess a comprehensive understanding of the skin and skin disorders. It is essential that we understand skin at both the anatomical level and the cellular level to treat skin conditions successfully.
This course will focus on the following skin disorders:
- hyper-proliferative disorders
- DNA & ROS Disorders
- Skin Barrier Disorders
The aim of this course is to ensure that participants develop an understanding of the skin’s cellular structure. This course will also support participants to develop the knowledge required to identify biological imbalances and nutritional deficiencies. Participants will also study how inflammation and toxicity contribute to allergies. The skills and knowledge obtained through this course will enable practitioners to treat clients by reflecting on every attribute that could be affecting their skin.
