Student Information

Government Subsidies

ACTI is now part of the ACT Registered Training Organisations that are part of the Apprenticeship and Trainee skills program. Students that are working in the industry and studying at ACTI receive a study subsidy (financial assistance) towards the cost of their course. In addition, Skills Canberra have also approved the Australia School Based Apprenticeship (ASBA) to be delivered by ACTI for the Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

ACTI works closely with Sarina Russo who is the Apprenticeship Provider in Canberra. We have been talking to employers about hiring an apprentice/trainee. Students that are eligible and express interest in Apprenticeship will have a preliminary interview with ACTI representative to determine if there is an employer match.

Students that have already secured jobs in the beauty industry will just need an eligibility check.
