Subsidies
The Federal Government offers training subsidies for students that undertake apprenticeships. The apprenticeship scheme is administered by each state government on behalf of the Federal Government. The Australian Capital Training Institute (ACTI) has a funding agreement with Skills Canberra for the Diploma of Beauty Therapy SHB50121 and students that become apprentices.
Enrolling Now
One of the ways to consider where your future is headed is to consider enrolling in one of ACTI’s courses. There are two enrolment periods and they are February and July. Students wanting to undertake distance studies may enrol at various times during the year. The ACTI team is excited for the future ahead for all our students. Apprenticeship/ Traineeship Opportunities
You can have an apprenticeship or traineeship in the Beauty Industry – apprenticeships are not just for hairdressers. We have employers keen to take on trainees and work with you and ACTI to get you ready for your career in Beauty. Students showing great potential and enthusiasm for the industry may be eligible to have their course fees subsidies via the subsidies via the Skills Canberra as part of the apprenticeship scheme.
